Rob G Posted February 10, 2014 Report Share Posted February 10, 2014 Central Illinois BassBuggers Fly Tying Gathering February 16th, Sunday 1 PM - 4 PM Bloomington, IL Fire Station #2 1911 Hamilton Rd, Bloomington, IL 61704 Stan, the Man, Z. will be coming down and bringing with him how to tie up Craig Reindeau's Sonic Boom Fly. We're also going to be working on some bad boy articulated flies and whatever else you are in the mood for, so come on out and tie with us. You do not have to be a member of the ISA to attend these gatherings and beginners are welcome. Afterwards we will often find a nearby watering hole in order to grab a quick bite. Rob G Posted February 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 17, 2014 Well I think we had 11 show up today in Bloomington where we worked on tying Craig Reindeau's new Sonic Boom pattern. Craig was generous enough to send up materials and Stan, the Man, Z was kind enough to walk us thru this pattern. It has Killer Smallie pattern written all over it. I look forward to the day when we can actually use this on open water. A few pics from the day below. And to all, consider joining us in March when we again gather to tie flies and tell lies.
