I read in the October 2006 "Midwest Outdoors" publication of a new show near Shelbyville at Eagle Creek Resort. It's called "FIshing Illinois-An Illinois All-Species Fishing Expo". It's planned for 23-25 March 2007. I have not seen any more information on this, so I don't know if it has gone beyong the planning stage. If you would like, PM me for additional details.

I was fishing the lower Namekagon River in NW Wisconsin last week. Unfortunately, the bail spring on my Cardinal C3 broke. Obviously, it made for a lousy morning of fishing. Upon my return home, I called AbuGarcia customer service. I was pleased to learn that they not only have the replacement part in stock, but will ship me two replacement springs at no charge. I know that the expense won't kill them, but I sure appreciate their effort.
