Nice job.
Once the video is playing, click the gear icon in the lower right of the video GUI and set the quality to 720P HD to see a more detailed video.
iPhone's do a nice job on video.
Thanks Eric, good to know. How do I remove the audio for next time?

what material was dubbed on the head? rich mc
Rich, All the material was Craft Fur. The head dubbing was created from the scraps cut off the CF used in the body.

Bass Buggers
Here is my first attempt at taking and editing a video from the iphone.
Not bad for the first time. Turn the volume down (unless you want to hear all the conversations going on in the background) as I could not figure out how to take the background noise out.
This was for those who wish to tie it again and for the few that had to leave early
(copy and paste into your browser URLThanks again Tom for the demo
Tom, maybe you can post the recipe for this fly?

Several of you already know that Bart and I are planning an AR getaway. I thought that I would open it up to see if anyone else was interested in experiencing this with us.
If you have any interest please IM or call me and I'd be glad to fill you in on the details. I am on my 4th or 5th year going there now and have had wonderful experiences in the past. Hopper, midges, streamer, wooley's etc...
Thanks

If Tom doesn't mind being the center of attention I can bring my Gopro and video the tie. We could post it on the site for all.
-
Austin, I'd love to take you up on that. Count me in

I am heading to Texas for a work meeting and was hoping to mix in a bit of fun. I was wondering if anyone knew of a fly guide in that area?
I know it's a long shot, yet have not found much on the web either.,
Any ideas would be appreciated.

I should be in.

I'll be there

Since this was a topic of discussion at the recent tying event at my place, I thought I would find the website and forward it on to those that may have an interest.
I have used this device for several years and have found it to be very helpful. Fly rod or spin gear, doesn't matter.
Good Luck

looks pretty slick. May have to give that a go. Thanks for sharing

I currently have a sit on top Jackson Cuda12 and a sit in Native Watercraft Ultimate 12. Both have their pros and cons and both are very stable to stand. I often stand and fly fish from them.
The Jackson is a bit better for the river and the other for cold water ponds etc...
Happy hunting
