seems like this past week i have heard more about anglers wanting musky on the fly rod. its funny how they seem to think they can just start out throwing big flies and not have a clue as to how to do it. are there any new musky flies out that a can downsize for smallies? rich

Rich,

I use several bonefish flies as well for musky, pike and gar. River musky is not my intented target most of the time.

 

I have downsized versions of the samebonefish & musky flies for bass that attracted the attention of river muskies.

 

Still waiting for a taker.

 

I hope its on the 7-9 wt. rods!
