Guest airbornemike
Got out for another evening fish caught the usual high numbers on a sneaky pete pattern up top, mostly 10" to 12 inchers, they wouldn't even look at a minnow pattern. I new there were some larger fish in the slow pools so I decided to try hopping some craw stuff, worked out well. I started catching bigger fish immediatly. Another one, I love figureing em out. Steve S.
Funny, I just returned from a float trip up north and the guides noted the same pattern; the minnow bite was off but the bass were readily taking poppers or foam bodied bugs on a dead drift. That's all I really caught them on the two days we floated. My Dad had better success on the spinning rod throwing unweighted Senkos and Charlie Brewer Slider worms. Pretty bass.
