Guest rich mc
ISA has been a big asset in the many rock projects at Shabbona Lake. 1/3 of a project was done in february while we had ice. the rest will be done in the beginning of april once the ground hardens up. this is mostly bobcat work so bodies will not be needed. the Dekalb forest preserve will be submitting a grant app for more water willow plantingon the kish the 3 big flood events did not do them any help. i have a contact for the Dekalb High fishing club. they want to do some conservation work , i will be contacting them to possibly do a cleanup on a section of the kish and help with willow plantings. we will be able to assist the idnr with the Green river survey this summer, this will be july 6-15 . more info will be given out closer to he dates. the Dekalb Park District will be contacted to see about planting some willows on a section they have. this is looking to be our best year for conservation work . rich
