new - shabbona lake water willows planting

members of the shabbona lake sportsman club have funded a small planting of willows for bank protection. ISA is also donating to this event. planting will be this sunday july20.this will be in the morning , time to be announced later. fishing will be afterward. the target area is across thelake from the launch. my boat and a few others will run us across to the area. around 200 plants will be planted. contact me if interested. rich

plants are in the water. 6 anglers placed 300 plants in about an hour and a half. we had 150 burr reeds by the shore and 150 water willows that were planted deeper . photos will be coming. stan z, matt p , chuck l, and i were from ISA, tom and steve urda were from slsc. afterward matt p hita 17" smallie on plastic frog! other reports of dark colored smallies along the dam earlier on cranks thanks to all that helped . rich
