Guest rich mc Posted July 29, 2013 Report Share Posted July 29, 2013 the rain stopped as we all gathered. forrest, john, mike ,stan, steve, eugene jim, tim and a friend. it felt more like an October day than end of july. water temps were down 13 degrees , thick weeds were thinning out. Eugene did the best with some nice largemouth on topwater and one of his secret flies. steve lost a nice musky on a crankbait, smallies were caught by the dam but no size. tim and his friend had some bass on a spinnerbait. mike,stan and jim s had kayaks . mike had it easy with his electric motor. shabbona can be a hard lake to fish today it was tough but we still managed to catch some despite the cold wind and cold front. rich mc Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
