I had a wading staff at one time.
It was a FULL staff at that, not some skeleton crew.
Had to lay them all off last week due to the downturn in the economy.
I picked up the coleman version when kmart when out of business. Haven't tried it yet!

I think I found Steve's pictures of the system John referred to:

Will this work on a kayak? Is that the same pully wheel up front?
Has anyone used the scotty anchor lock?

My wife surpised me with this for Christmas. I added the rod holders and the rigging up front and made some leashes. I plan on learning to use it on small lakes and than try it out on the dupe. I have looked at some anchor trolley systems and wonder if you guys use/recommend them for the dupe? Thanks.

I have a Triumph by St Croix that I like very much. It is a 6' med/light fast action 1 piece TRS60MLF. I have had it for 1 year and paid $50 on sale.

Well I am inept at both, but fly fishing would be my preference if I could cast better. But than again I like my recurve bow better than my compound, my single action bisley over my m15...

I just want to know what he switched to after checking out the contents of its stomach?

I know a lot of folks are using the William Joseph chest packs... but has anyone figured out how to use the tippet/line pockets with dispenser holes?
<shrug> Maybe it's just me
I've resorted to using the zipper feature.

My Field & Stream pack has them. Altough I haven't used them, I believe you just put the spool inside the pocket and thread the line through the hole. You will probably need to leave a length of tippet hanging.
Are William Joseph packs water proof? Mine is not so I sealed the seams and it is better but still leaks.

I believe size 11 felt wading boots are the biggest offenders. So please, for the sake of our rivers, send any size 11 boots my way and I'll see to it that they are disposed of properly.
I thought I was gonna have to give up my size 12s, but looks like I can keep them!
P.S. I got you package today and can not wait to try them out. Thanks again.

Hey guys I am new to ISA, wading and smallies. I have been fishing the DuPage on many Sat mornings this summer. My second time out I caught one that had to be close to 20. It was my first cast using a super fluke. I did not have a camera with nor did I realize how big it was until I saw some of the mounts @ BassPro. Since than I have made sure to have a camera with but have not come close to it. A couple of weeks ago I almost landed my second largest 14-16" on a mepps aglia streamer but my poorly tied knot failed (improved clinch) before I grabbed it. I have changed to a polomar knot. I am hoping to get back out in a couple of weeks.
P.S. I did land my first smallie with my fly rod last weekend at KRSP. My son and I were by the concession stand under the bridge on the creek. I caught it on a popper. It was about 8"!
How do you stop fish from jumping and throwing the hook.

Not first hand experience, but I recall a fly fishing show recently that instructed to "bow" to the fish with your rod. Not you just the rod since they are fun to watch!
