  1. Rich would a regular boat work at this location? 14' Aluminum with motor?
  2. I was one of the judges, your fly had the BEST ACTION of them all! Good job!
  3. I got out 4 times, got 3 browns and 4 salmon. The Milwaukee was way down, had to find deeper water! Now that the water is up the run is over. I heard that Coho move in the middle to late November!
  4. Thank You!, I will look forward to receiving them and meeting you at some tying event. The next 4 weeks I will be busy flyfishing for salmon in the Root and the Milwaukee river. Anybody want to join me just give a holler! It is really a hoot!
  5. Suddenly I am a star, and I haven't even tried it yet. AND I haven't been called Brilliant in a long time.
  6. Thanks, I have that issue, and I am also a lefty, (smart, intelligent, good looking, "hostile left hander",) it just seems that there should be an easier way to tie on the loop (maybe stretch it, pierce the bottom 1\4 of it with the hook, move it to the front, and put it on before you tie the rest of the stuff on). I was introduced to Craigs system in a D.R.I.F.T. meeting a few years ago. What do you think Craig???
  7. How is the rubber loop tied on? Craig had a unique system that I could never get right.
  8. Does anybody know the location of where we are going to fish tonight? I think it is the DuPage, any directions?
  9. Hi, I am a new member. My name is Steve Randolph and I am currently a member & V.P. of D.R.I.F.T. a flytying club in the Western Burbs. I actually won a membership through our annual auction, but John Lobach has been prompting me for a few years to join. I generally fish the Wisconsin Salmon in the fall but was out on Shabbona quite a bit last year. I have a 16' boat and am always looking for some one to go out with me during the week. I am a Realtor so am usually busy on wekends. I am looking forward to learning the local rivers in my area, namly the Fox & DuPage. I live a stones throw from the DuPage and never fished it!
