  5. Below you'll find my Hairless Mouse. Supplies needed Getting started Almost done. Just add paint and eyes. Don't forget to glue the the pieces together, the tail to the bottom and so on. I hope these work. I only did this because I have no idea how to tie deer hair.

  7. I have mounted my vise to the table, but it is a thick table. Better play it safe.
  8. Yes Brian, you have the location correct. It's the training room at #2 station on Hamilton Rd. The room can seat at least 20 tyers and has good light. Parking right next to the building, and our times are somewhat flexeble. We can start about an hour earlier and go as late as we want.
  9. The 28th works for me. 1pm till how ever late also works. Thanks Brian for working on this.
  10. Thanks alot for the tying event. I got to meet some great tyers.
  11. A big thank you tho those who organized the Open Tie on Jan 17th. It was my 1st time attending an Open Tie and I had a great, educational time. I do think we should do this again. I heard some talking about trying it in Bloomington at the end of Feb. I am trying to get a spot for Sunday Feb 28th. It can seat 20 tiers and has great lighting. Let me know what you guys think. I should know someting buy the end of the week. I noticed that there was a few guys taking pics on sunday. Could you post them?
  12. Hi Dick, I have been fishing from canoes and kayaks for years and if you have already started you now they are not perfect for fishing out of, but they do work. Last year I got the pleasure of fishing out of a Water Master Grizzly inflatable. WOW. It makes a huge differance. I could fish the entire time i was in the boat. I did not have to put down my rod hardly at all. Here are the links for it. http://www.bigskyinflatables.com/Home_Page.html These are incredible. Be sure to check out the videos, both on the web site and on youtube. They are a bit pricey but they are well worth it. The guys at Big sky inflatables are great and I am now saving my pennies and trying to sell my kayak so I can get my Water Master.
  13. I have the Garmin GPS Map 60 CSx and I LOVE IT. I use it all the time, in the car, on the motorcycle, hikes, hunting (animals and mushrooms), and geocaching with the family. The 60 is a more exspensive one, but it is worht it. You can download maps and switch out the SD card for more memory, use your computer to set up routes and outingings. If you have more questions you can call me. 309-287-1425 Take care and good luck.
  14. What type of flies are needed? Smally flies or just whatever?
