  1. We almost always say that this was the best ever Blowout,in this case it is true. I believe this really was the best ever. We learn from our mistakes and build on past sucess. Scott always does a fantastic job.

    there will be a fly and jig tying session on Saturday March 14. held at Runaways restaurant in north aurora [rt 56 and 25] 12 to 3pm. we will tye up flies and jigs using satin and eyelash yarn. on the list are some sexy shad clousers and some madtom initations . should also have time for a few dragontail style tails. all material will be provided .this is for anyone , bring your vise and tools , a few extras will be available for rookie tiers . they have good food,cold drinks and the fox river is close to test your creations
  8. As I brought up at the last officers meeting my future participation as the Chicago Region Coordinator could be compromosd in the future. Well it has come to pass. I had to rush my wife to the emergency room last Wednesday night. Today she was moved from the intensive care unit to the general patient area ( good news ). While some of the more social activities are almost self organizing and not a problem for me to handle, someone will have to step up and handle the more active events.Fishing outings, clean ups, sign postings etc. they are going to be beyond my ability for the foreseeable future.

  14. In spite of the weather 9 members and one guest turned out for a friendly breakfast get together this morning. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast and pleasant conservation among a dedicated group of smallmouth addicts.
