    Winter is tying season. Good to get creative and work out new ideas. I am in the same boat as you. Tied a mess of new patterns. Many are unproven. However the main stay Clouser ties up quickly. I plan to fish as many of my new ties as possible this season. Including the flies from the swaps to broaden my horizons. Nice craw pattern BTW!

    Agreed. Let's not forget the algae blooms that abound on the K3. The result of chemical runoff. Fertilizers that make the lawn lush and high yielding crops. To whom do we bring the fight? Our beloved smallie is not the only fish species to suffer a poor spawn. It effects the whole ecosystem.

    Venue was superb! First class all the way. Great place for date night with the spouse. Films were very well produced. The passion and artistry of the sport was captured elegantly. The scenery; from the Alaskan tundra, Redwood Forests, Spanish highlands was breath taking. Raffle prizes and a casting Olympics were a nice touch. It surely would have been more rounded to have a warm/salt water entry. I will look forward to next years event.

    Hmmm. If I'm betting. I'm going with Seattle. Defense wins championships and the Seahawks are tuned up. Yet I would love to P. Manning get another one.
