Partners for Parks and Wildlife (PPW) is a grassroots coalition that aims to secure and increase funding for open space and park acquisition, natural area preservation, wildlife habitat protection and recreational opportunities in Illinois.

PPW members are anxious to embark on a more aggressive policy agenda to secure dedicated funding for open space. Many other states have dedicated funding to support natural resources through various methods that reflect the state's culture, history, economy and political leadership.

At this meeting we will discuss how PPW with the assistance of research being conducted by Trust for Public Land can move toward the goal to have dedicated funding to protect our natural resources in the State of Illinois.

Please plan on attending the meeting and pass this information along to others who might be interested. Please RSVP to Wes King at wking@ilenviro.org

Thanks and looking forward to seeing you there.
