ronk
Does anyone have any thouguts re Tim Smith's fine albeit distressing article on phosphates in the newsletter especially as regards the imperiled Dupage River? I expressed mine in the Got My Newsletter post
Tim Smith
Thanks for checking out the article, Ron. Your earlier comments about using low or no phosphate dish soap seem appropriate to bring up again here. Also, think twice about your garbage disposal. There's also quite a lot of phosphorus in our table scraps. Sending large volumes of food down the drain also adds to the P load in the waste disposal system (as well as gumming up your pipes). I've been composting yard waste for a long time. Hopefully this will be the year I finally set up the composter to handle table scraps too. jamie
Vegetables? Iguana. Tortoise. Or a plecostomus. (personally, I mix them in with the dog food. My dog aint picky. Probably explains the 3 digit weight.)
