During the banquet, Rob Taylor of Minonk was applauded as the IMTT angler of the year. (Ironically, Illinois Smallmouth Alliance founding president John Graham also lives in Minonk, which may have more great anglers per capita than any other place in Illinois.) Proceeds from all IMTT tournaments fuel part of the DNR's muskie management program, something that the parent club, the Illini Muskie Alliance, has been doing for decades.
