Guest rich mc Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 there will be a muskie rescue below the spillway on tuesday sept 25 starting at 4.30-5pm. meeting spot is at the deer hunting parking lot on shabbona grove rd. south edge of the park. bring a large net, waders and a very large cooler which can be be used to move muskies to a holding tank. this is a good time to wade the creek with a biologist , check it out for smallies too. if you arrive later park in the lot inside the parkby the dam . and walk down to it rich m Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest rich mc Posted September 25, 2007 Report Share Posted September 25, 2007 they line up shoulder to shoulder with the musky net handle up in front of each person. all walk upstream with the nets touching each other. when fish get caught they are placed ina large cooler with water and taken to a holding tank with o2 all muskies are put back in the lake .
