My Field & Stream pack has them. Altough I haven't used them, I believe you just put the spool inside the pocket and thread the line through the hole. You will probably need to leave a length of tippet hanging. Are William Joseph packs water proof? Mine is not so I sealed the seams and it is better but still leaks.
