Michael T Posted July 14, 2007 Report Share Posted July 14, 2007 I experienced a fly hatch earlier this year on the DuPage. But as life has it, I had my spinning rod....DOH! It was interesting watching smallies act "out of their norm". It's one thing to see them sharking on the top smashing baitfish, but another to see them leasiurely swimming in circles picking off flies.
