ISA Kids Casting Tour Has Begun

Was asked to provide the Kids Casting event at the Rosemoor Club on the Kankakee River today, so I suppose this is the official start to our ISA Kids Program for 2007.

Note that I use the word "event", as when its all said and done it is a ton of work to pull this off every time.

45 kids came through the casting line this time around, after a fishing competition in the morning.

This is always a huge hit wherever it gets set up, so I'm always happy to oblige.

A few pics of the afternoon:

Here is how the season is shaping up so far for the ISA Kids Casting program:

July 1: ISA Kids Day and Picnic (Monee Reservoir)

August 11: Military Kids Derby (Herrick Lake)

August 18: Illinois State Fair (Springfield)

Sept. 22/23: National Hunting and Fishing Days (Silver Springs)

Can we use all the help we can get for these events?

You better believe it.

Please PM or Email if you can spare a few hours on these dates.

The effort is worth every minute when you see the looks on these kids' faces.

Priceless.

Hi Mike, I did the Kid's Derby at Silver Springs last year...I'll probaly do it again, and maybe the one at Herrick lake. It is a lot of work and it's too much for one person.
