Guest Don R Posted June 1, 2007 Report Share Posted June 1, 2007 I've been meaning to post about last Saturday's rainy adventure.... Rich mc guided Matt K and me on lake Shabbona this past Saturday. I'm not sure just how many Largemouth bass we caught that day...maybe Rich or Matt could give a better estimate. There were a couple smallies and sunfish landed too! Rich's helgie imitator worked well for me and Matt stuck with the Senko most of the day. Towards the end of the outing we were all using spinners or buzzbaits. Pretty much everything we tried caught fish. Sure it rained about 1.5" while we fished but I was still surprised to see very few fishermen on a Memorial day weekend. Thanks again for a great time.
