Doug Taylor, Sage Elite Pro Staff and St Joe River licensed guide, will once again be offering this free clinic. It will be held on the 3rd Saturday of the month on the Fox River at Glenwood Park in Batavia. Start time is 09.00 AM. Finish time is when the last person leaves the water. You will need, waders or high waterproof boots, sunglasses and a hat. The clinic will be from April till October. Not including June as I will be away salmon fishing on the Restigouche. Dates, Saturday April 21st, May 19th, June, No class. , July 21st, Aug 18th, Sept 15th and Oct 20th. It will cover basic Speycasting for beginners as well as some of the more advanced techniques . You can bring your own gear or borrow one of my matched outfits. I will have a wide selection of Spey lines on hand, so if you are having a problem matching line to rod, just bring it along and we will get it sorted. Last year was quite fun, and I saw a definite improvement in peoples Speycasting. So if you have interest in learning to Speycast, come and pay us a visit.
