Rob G Posted March 24, 2018 Report Posted March 24, 2018 Yesterday Today Come on spring, one can only tie so many flies Quote
John Gillio Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 Is that your new fiberglass rod? At least the snow looks pretty. We were in line to get 7" to 9" today. I think it went south. We only had one. Some of the areas just south had a good 5". I haven't heard what hit to the north. Quote
Kev-mo Posted March 25, 2018 Report Posted March 25, 2018 Nothing up here, the dry air/wind from the N/NE pushed it S/SW. Quote
Rob G Posted March 25, 2018 Author Report Posted March 25, 2018 yea, we got 7-8" today, it stinks because yesterday was a reasonable 50 deg. This winter just doesn't want to quit. I was letting the streams warm up just a touch more before I got out there and then we get this : ( John, that's my new < $30 glass rod. I haven't purchased a new fiberglass fly rod since I was 12 years old (farm labor money @ $1.30/ hour. Ha) I've tied enough black flashback nymphs over this long winter for two lifetimes. Quote
