Though we were on the opposite end of the spectrum on most river issues, he was a true champion for the river when there were none. Thoughts and prayers go out for the family. Quote

More sad news... thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I never got the chance to meet J.R. I'm just curious with him being a conservationist and protector of the river what were the issues that you didn't agree on? Thanks! Quote
