I admire the conservation work you all have done for the rivers in our area, and I felt like it was time to pay back the good times I have had fishing for bronzebacks. I live near Sandwich, and I fish Lake Holiday, Lake Geneva, the fox along with many creeks in north-central Illinois. I am a special education teacher (emotional/behavioral needs) and I am an assistant coach for the Chicago Blackhawks Warriors (for any vets out there). I enjoy teaching others to fish, and learning from others that know a whole lot more than I do. I am really interested in conservation, and how I can get involved to improve the outcome for smallmouth and other native fish in our area. If you would like to participate in some of our conservation efforts, we are going to be planting water willows in the Fox River this Sunday, if the river doesn't come up from all this rain in the forecast.
