rich mc
if you fished the kish you could go from riffle to riffle and not have to get up, just walk off the board on gravel. would also give you a better look into the water than sitting in a yak. so is it a fad or just exercise ? Terry Dodge
I can stand in my kayak. Do the paddle boards have rod holders? I think it's a fad.
Norm M
Way to dangerous to fish from , end up falling off trying to fight a fish , maybe even on hookset .
Kev-mo
Fishing was my first thought when seeing one for the first time in 2009. Since then I've seen some marketed as a fishing SUP and also seen some modified to fish from. I think a kayak is more versatile but I can see a SUP having a niche in the fishing realm. Just another tool? A fad? Only time (and sales) will tell...
Paul Trybul
Sounds like a good way to lose some gear and/or go for unwanted swims. I can also stand up in my boat and get across the lake a lot faster and with much less effort. I think that fad will stick around longer. Bart Durham
I've seen them used to fly fish for red fish in Florida backwaters.
