Water Willow Planting on the DuPage River

Event details

We will meet at Garys Mill Rd. off of Rt. 59 which is just south of Rt. 38 in West Chicago @ 8am. Saturday July 14.

We have permission to park at Currier  Elementary School at the west end of their parking lot which is just east of the river over the bridge on the south side of street ( on Garys Mill Rd.-See google map)

I will bring dibble bars, gloves, the plants and floating blowup boat.  There will be 11 flats.   We will be planting just north of the bridge. It has been predicted to rain sometime that day.

The work isn't very difficult, bring waders and some gloves and be a part of the habitat restoration of the DuPage River. With enough help, we should be done in just a few hours. If you can help, post here and let us know.
