Ed Buric Posted January 6, 2017 Report Share Posted January 6, 2017 Dan Grigas, who is a fisheries ecologist for the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County will give a presentation on managing fisheries in a modern urban environment and how that relates to the sport fisherman.The venue for this event has been changed from the Bass Pro Shops Store to the Orvis Store in Yorktown center. Ed Buric Posted January 21, 2017 Author Report Share Posted January 21, 2017 A very successful meeting last night.We had 30 members and guests in attendance. I'll admit that Dan was a bit more technical than I had anticipated but then he is a professional after all. He did give a very thorough presentation on the problems faced in managing urban fisheries and answered all questions that anyone had at the conclusion of his talk. We then finisher up with some pizza and a refreshing beverage along with some great conversation.
