Rob G
Thanks for the heads up Mike. I can sure vouch for the Cabela's Prestige® Premier Fly Reels in the 5-6 size.Supposedly it is made by Lamson and features their smooth conical drag. This is a tremendous buy at $45. My only only complaint with the reel is that I wish it had a larger handle but that is totally subjective.
Steve S.
I do my best to buy products Made in the USA, though not always the case. Lamson is an American company so I hope they make them, though it seems really inexpensive.
Mike G
Four more days starting today. http://www.cabelas.com/browse.cmd?categoryId=105993180&WT.tsrc=EML&WT.mc_id=email-nl&eid=6138037&cmp=EP20160428&seg=EPP0ALL&cnt=12121&ctb=SUBFEAT3 Steve, I appreciate your determination. My last Chevy was made in Canada, though I have the consolation that it is an American company. Is Ford better being controlled by Brit interests. they do not have labor problems; they have labour problems. And so on tillyou get the the Buick from China. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/why-gm-is-importing-a-buick-from-china-130758915.html
