While it is not smallmouth centered it does get kids outdoors and exposed to fishing. Trout Fishing for KidsLocation: Wood Dale GroveSaturday, March 26, 20168 a.m. – Noon Introduce your young anglers to trout fishing at this preseason special event that's just for them. Bait provided. Ages 15 and under with an adult. Free. Registration not required. Questions? Call (630) 933-7668. Be sure to let Norm P. know. He likes working this event and helping the kids rig up their rods properly for trout fishing. The weather on Saturday was probably the best since this event began several years ago. It's always good to see the kids fishing with their families and hauling back a stringer of trout. As Norm Perkins noted the participants have been getting better at this every year also and seem to be a lot more efficient at catching trout.
