John Gillio Posted January 6, 2014 Report Share Posted January 6, 2014 I haven't used it alot for smallmouths, but when I have light blue on the back and a white belly worked fine. The same works well for crappie and white bass. Crappie seem to like yellow too.Eric or Jon would be good ones to get smallie info from. A bit of flash is good too. Thank you for any input that anyone may have. this is from our neighbors in Indiana. You can see a lot of color variations. the Ducks, flies with mallard breast flanks, look cool to me.
