Midwest Waters Angling Co. (MWAC)  Their goal is to provide clients with the best experience possible on the water. Currently they guide on more rivers than anyone else in Northern Illinois. MWAC offers raft and power drifter jet boat trips on the most scenic and pristine rivers in the state.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced angler, you will enjoy the best fly fishing that Illinois has to offer. They are a catch and release guide service that specializes in targeting smallmouth bass, carp, gar, and pike on the fly.”

MIKE ALLEN
Growing up in Illinois, Mike’s early years were filled with many days spent along the local banks of the DuPage River, or pondhopping with a fly rod. He was lucky enough to have a father who put a fly rod in his hands at a young age, and in doing so Mike fly fished into his adult life. After military service he longed for something close to nature again, fly fishing would soon again fill this void.
In 1992, the Dupage Rivers Fly Tying Club became a mainstay in Mike’s fishing and fly tying, and he has remained closely involved for the past 20 years. He now makes his home in the Fox River Valley, close to his home waters of the Fox and DuPage Rivers, just two of the many watersheds in Northern Illinois that he has come to know and love.
Mike has fished all these rivers extensively over many years, and looks forward to sharing these truly special waters with you. He enjoys all kinds of fishing, but specializes in warm water fly fishing for native Smallmouth Bass, Carp, and Pike.

CAPTAIN KURT NELSON
Kurt Nelson grew up in Fox River Valley of Illinois,  in the western suburbs of Chicago. He was fortunate to have an excellent smallmouth and carp fishery in his home town. Kurt has been fishing the waters of Northern Illinois his entire life, while also venturing all around the Midwest in search of trophies. He has excellent knowledge of the fishing seasons and patterns in the area, and really knows how to find fish. He is hard working, knowledgeable, and passionate about fly fishing and the resources in our area. You will have a great time on the water with Kurt, and he will be sure to do everything he can to ensure you have a great time on your next day out on the river.
Northwoods Bass Fishing Adventures, a guide service serving northern Wisconsin waters.

ANDREW RAGAS
Andrew Ragas splits time between the Chicago area and Wisconsin's Northwoods. Based in Minocqua, WI, he specializes in trophy bass fishing and offers guided trips from May thru October. Northwoods Bass is the only Wisconsin fishing guide service of its kind, specializing exclusively on one single species, with emphasis on seminar styled learning and angling approach. We are the only Wisconsin bass fishing guide service and information resource of its kind. His goal is to educate, promote and conserve the resource, and help you succeed. He may be visited online at www.northwoodsbass.com.

While big bass is the passion, he dabbles in multi-species as well. Besides his seasonal guiding, he is a frequent writer and columnist with Midwest Outdoors Magazine and specializes on the subjects of bass fishing, fishing trips and destinations, and other multi-species subjects. Additionally in the fishing world, he enjoys collaborating with his partner brands through field staff and pro staff memberships where product development, promotion, and marketing are his tasks.
Uniquely, Ragas also has a desk job like everyone else, but one that allows him to work year-round in between all the fishing he does. A 2010 graduate of Loyola University Chicago, with degrees in Communication and Media Studies, and a secondary degree in Visual Communication and Graphic Design, he is a self-employed small business owner, specializing in website design, web marketing, and web management solutions. Working from his desk and remotely, he works on website design projects with clients of all industries throughout the country that includes outdoor brands, corporations, television shows and media entities, healthcare, professional services, and more. His business website can be visited at www.ragasmedia.com.
