    I'll try to make this one. I really wish they would do this earlier. I mean they probably wait til it';s warmer and more comfortable but so much plant growth hides a lot of the garbage by this time. Along with poison ivy and other nasties having already emerged. I guess it's good that's it's even being done and so consistently!

    Not sure they'll be this far north, this isn't the brood that hits northern illinois. I don't think that brood is due till 2024. With that said the torpedo sounds like an excellent idea!

    thanks for the memory jog Scott. we took a family trip there when i was a teeneager and we swam below the falls and i think we even body surfed over them

    maybe some prominent wealthy people need to go fish the menominee..... and what's the deal with this? "Mine supporters say the project would bring year-round jobs to an area that badly needs them and provide minerals the nation needs." do we really have a mineral shortage? maybe find whoever is hoarding all the coins and melt those down as i'm sure this is the beginning of the end of currency. and maybe some areas just shouldn't have that many year round jobs? i don't know.... it hasn't been working too well so maybe we need to do it differently?

    Really don't have much to add in the way of a report or technique as it's pretty much been covered, Always learn something whether it's a technique or a behaviour that will improve my enjoyment on the water. Great to see old faces and meet new faces!!! Here's a few pics. A 19 that Bart was in the area to photograph, a different 19 selfie and an 18.5 that the camera caught just right.

    The whole system is jacked, we all know it, not sure how to fix it. And on top of that the amount of food that's thrown out each year,...... it's sickening!
