  1. Float and fly can be a difficult technique to fish on rivers As Bart mentioned depth control is very important and unless you are targeting an area that is fairly consistent this can be difficult! Most rivers the depth varies alot which makes keeping the correct depth an issue. I have been having success throwing hairjigs and fishing them very slow on the bottom with the most productive color being black!

  2. I just want to take a minute and thank Terry for doing such a great job putting together the e-news magazine all these months. I know he puts good amount of time in this and I want him to know it is much appreciated.! Keep up the great job Terry and let's help him by contributing articles and anything else that may be interesting to other members!

  3. With not wanting to fish for smallies during the spawn thinking of targeting carp. With very low levels on my local water the carp seem to be bunching up in the deeper pools. What would you guys recommend for flies to target these  carp?

  4. With this years predicted Cicada hatch what lures and flies will you be using. Two options I will be using will be two old standards the Jitterbug and the Tiny Torpedo.  I think these two topwaters will be effective imitating the struggling cicadas in the water. Lets hear what you think may be a good presentation during this hatch.
