  1. Set your dvr's to the Comcast Sports channel Wendsday morning at 11:00 for a rebroadcast of yesterday's Time On The Water. The show was filmed this past spring. Lots of top water action on conventional gear.
  2. Just after the first of the year, Rich
  3. I have just had a last minute cancellation for this Saturday. First call gets it if any of you want to float the river. Caught this one yesterday. Thanks, Captain Austin adduci (630)886-1964
  4. I would try and get a hold of kip veith from wildwood floats to see if he or one of his guides are avaible.
  5. I think breathable is the way to go. With today's waders and being layered properly underneath in the colder months there is no need ever for rubber or neoprene (unless your a duck hunter). If your going to stick to using them in IL felt helps, but some states have banned them. I run with rubber bottomed boots and have never taken a dip. As far as the style of waders go if you use them a lot stocking foot is it, if your a occasional weekend guy the boot attached is just fine. Simms and Redington have some nice waders in your price range. Keep the big boxes out of it and support a local fly shop. That's my opinion. Captain Austin Adduci www.grabyourflycharters.com
  6. Nope no more shops in the suburbs. The shop that gets my business now is Chicago Fly Fishing outfitters. It's downtown on Clyborn north of Division. They'll have what your looking for.
  7. I need help getting some contact information for a Alliance Member Sean Graham. He won the trip that I donated to the blowout this year. The smallmouth bite has started on the southern end of Lake Michigan and I would like to know his intentions for a great trip on the water. So any help with getting information would be appreciated. Thanks, Captain Austin Adduci
  8. Very nice fish and photos Mike. It's nice to see some one else using this great resource that we have.
  9. To all of you who attended the meeting last night, I wanted to thank you for the opportunity to speak. I enjoyed talking to you and discussing the unique fishing options that are available in the Chicago area. Please fell free to contact me with any questions that you might have, I'm always willing to share what I know. Thanks again, Captain Austin
  10. I would like to formaly thank John Lobach and Cory Gale, for inviting me to teach Austin's Greatlakes Goby Grub on Saturday. It was a great time lots of nice patterns were taught. A very receptive group made my first instructing session a wonderful time. I look forward to tying with all of you again. Thanks Again, Captain Austin Adduci Grab Your Fly Charters
