Teckel Sprinker Frog

Recommended Posts

If you frog fish for bass, you’ll want one for your arsenal. It’s a weedless hollow-bodied frog with a rotating soft paddle tail. It sounds a lot like a Whopper Plopper. Has two super sharp Gamakatsu hooks.

Tried mine last night while kayaking a pond. Loved it! Was great over and around the emerging Lilly pads. Not so much in the very heavy filamentous algae near shore ... it would often foul the tail. But overall, love it!

I like !  No reason to think it wouldn't work on bronze, yes ?

I think it would catch smallmouth and be especially useful on leaf-choked areas in autumn. Some might find it useful to buzz across eel grass.

A tip on this frog ... squeeze the water out of it every six casts or so. It will help it maintain buoyancy and give the tail the best action.
