I have been a member of the River Alliance of Wisconsin for over a decade. This organization is tireless in its advocacy of rivers in the beleaguered state of Wisconsin. This June I did a float with executive director Denny Caneff on the upper Wisconsin River and afterwards he asked if he could do an article on me ( and our trip ) for the monthly newsletter, the FLOW. Here its is. I am very honored. Thank you, Denny !

Mike, in Illanoize I have floated the Dupe several times, the Fox maybe three times, the Apple once, the Kish maybe 3 times ( waded also ) and floated but did not fish the lower Des Plaines many years ago. Oh, I waded for about a half hour once on the K3 by the Warner Bridge.

Ah, Mr. Olson, but I did. I have marked on my Wisconsin Gazetteer most of these. I used my canoeing books for help too.
