Grateful Fishing Reel

Fishing is the way to truth and happiness. We all agree.

When I fish I prefer the sounds of nature, bird songs, wind rustling in the poplars, the gurgle of the stream, and of course the sound of a vicious top water strike. However, in this age of the iPod, I won't argue with those who prefer the plugged in approach. If one has to do that to reach the truth, one could do worse than casting to the tunes of Garcia and Co.

But now there is more. You can show your allegiance in your gear with this Abel upgrade.

Need I say more?

Upgrade?Yea like reality tv has upgraded our collective intelligence.Instead of coming up with stuff like that to try & justify the price of their product Abel should cut the crap & try to figure a way to reduce it. What's next on their to do list porno reels?

Well, if it's like the Dead, it should be available for the next 40 years.

I respect the Grateful Dead. I listen to Grateful Dead tunes. If I have it right, the Dead is what the group renamed itself after Garcia passed on. Or maybe a Dead Head can set me straight on the name to use referring to before and after.

No matter what you call 'em, they are big juju. Guys will buy a $700 Abel and shell out another $300 for the upgrade? Magic.

Not a big fan myself but I do know they attracted quite the cult following over the decades. For some reason, I just don't see a large demand or rather I don't see a lot of dead heads as fly fishing zealots willing to put out that much money for a reel when you think of all the grass that could buy. (Ridiculous generalization I know)

Any Deadhead who's got better things to do with $700-1000 than buy a ridiculously gross, overpriced Abel reel is ok by me.I was disappointed when the satellite radio provider that came with the car I recently bought wanted a substantial premium to include the Dead in their package.I've never smoked pot but it's ez to see how the Dead's long languid tunes & pot go so well together .
