Guest Jim S.
When I first tried tying a fly, I tried to do a baby Bluegill bucktail streamer. This was the first fly I ever did, so I thought I'd post it. It is just bucktail with a pair of feathers from Hobby Lobby and some green and blue tinsel for some flash from Michaels. Rob G
Did your streamer ever get fished and if so, did it catch anything? I tied my first fly in the mid 70's, a small sponge or foam spider with rubber band legs for local panfish. I didn't own a vise but my tennis racquet stringing machine clamps sufficed. Ryan Kral
Almost has the look of one of those fancy Atlantic Salmon flies, only those guys wouldn't dare use material from Hobby Lobby! Shame on you! Just kidding, looks good, no reason a fish won't eat that. Ryan
