About Me

Currently a resident of Oswego. I typically fish the Fox River between Oswego and St. Charles, typically wading for Smallies.

2011 started my love for fly fishing. I have been to the White River and Norfork River in NW Arkansas fly fishing for trout. What an experience. Thanks to the assistance of Tom Loo, I have been flying the Fox on numerous occasion for the almighty Bronzeback.

Spring of 2011 I picked up a Native Watercraft 12 Angling Kayak. Love it!
I frequent many local ponds for crappie, bluegill, largemouth as well as the river.

I am also a member of the Oswegoland Fishn Fools since Feb 2011. Another great bunch of guys.

Always looking for someone new to share the great sport of fishing! Let's share some favorite technics this coming season.

Meat Whistle hook

I am looking for assistance in determining the hook used for a meat whistle. I've been looking for some time and just can't seem to find the on with extended 90deg.

Any assistance would be greatly apprecited.

Fly Tying Supplies

Can someone lend a hand? Other than Cabela's, Gander and Bass Pro, are there other local shop (Fox Valley area) that sell fly tying materials?
Also is there a good online source as well?
