I can't believe I am having trouble with this one. What colors go into this streamer-tail, body, wing, hackle...?

are you referring to the electric chicken patterns ? those are pretty much pink and chartruese rich

You got it Rich. It is best to know the right name. I can answer the original question also. The Funky Chicken is a diver with a natural deer hair head and a black marabou tail. Two for one thanks.

having done some research on the coloring i have learned a few things
1 its more of a clear water pattern,especially saltwater
2 its more for roaming species that dont hug the bottom
3 also works for freshwater stripers
4 is popular for crappie jigs, clearwater again.
5 i prefer the pink over the chart, or pink body and chart tail. but ithas worked for others in reverse
6 the color scheme started by a fly tyer using the colors from a popular plastic bait similar to the bighammer rich
