I don't know if you kayak owners have seen this item yet. Go to www.standnfish.com to view a system that allows you to stand up in your kayak, cast and fish. I don't own a kayak but if I did this is something that I would consider. A little pricey at $500.00 though.
I saw a guy using one in Florida and then saw it advertised in a local Florida fishing newspaper.
