Thanks for posting about this here, Tom. I've been talking it up to customers and others in Chicago. Rob Tomes brought it to my attention a few months ago, and I've spoken with Jon Uhlenhop of Chicago Flyfishing Outfitters about it. The Nature Museum is on our side. Despite being a casting pier, it also has mixed use--watercolor painters use it for a unique perspective, photographers use it for engagement/wedding photos or personal work, the nature museum takes groups of kids out there to point out and talk about animals in the pond ecosystem, and obviously there is both commercial (lessons/classes) and recreational casting usage...
