  1. Just a short note to let you guys out there who may have encountered a "Warning" page when trying to access Raptor premium Spinnerbaits website that I have taken the site down and severed ties with my webhost. I am looking into re-doing the entire site and should be back up and running soon. In the mean time orders can still be filled by contacting me and also I will be at the Tinley park and Elmwood outdoors Shows this year. Jonn Graham and I will have booths side by side at Tinley Park. Sorry for any inconvenience and hope to hear from you again soon.
  2. Which do you guys prefer? R bend wires like on all the mass manufactured spinnerbaits or the Looped wire type? Bob Raptor Premium Spinnerbaits
  3. Raptor makes a very unique topwater bait...not a true "Buzzbait" since it has a single Colorado blade instead of the traditional delta blade like other baits. We call it the Do-Wop. It's modelled after an old lure called the "Pomme Special" once made by the Mar-Lynn bait Co down in Missouri. The old timer that made them died years ago and so did the lure company. I used to fish the lure in bass tournaments when i first started competetive fishing some 30 years ago. You could out fish a guy from the back of the boat in his "dirty" water he already threw buzzbaits through. The lure has a very very loud "Gurgle" rather than a buzz and the fish have never heard or felt the lure like this before. Strikes are many time "Viscious" and although they take some learning to throw as the action is partly done by the fisherman and the way he manipultes the rod and retreive. Jonn Graham has thrown them and even he has been impressed by the action and sound. I'll have some of these at the Tinley park Show this year as well... Bob
  4. Just a heads up to any of you guys who may be interested...Raptor Premium Spinnerbaits will have a space at the upcoming Tinley Park Outdoor Show in February! I will have all the patterns including Eric Schaaf's "Eric Bait" and Jonn Graham's namesake, "Graham Cracker"... Looking forward to seeing and meeting as many of you as possible and be sure and let me know you are an ISA member! Tinley Park will also be the first time I publicly unveil the new "Triple Threat" spinnerbait...Eric Schaaf , Jonn Graham and a couple others have been testing it for me and results and feedback on this unique new spinnerbait are very good! See you in Tinley Park...Bob
